Hobbies become passions.
What started as a casual hobby during the pandemic became a true passion a few years later. I had originally discovered polymer clay from a Buzzfeed post about making your own coasters. I attempted said coasters and realized I wanted to try other things as well. The more I discovered, the more invested I was and truly wanted to follow this new found passion and joy.
Once I finished grad school in 2023 and with more time on my hands, I truly began following my passion for creating things. Polymer clay turned into soap and candles and beaded bracelets and so on.
Passions become dreams.
Dreams become Jasmine & Lily’s
Now a mother to a little girl, I have truly have discovered the meaning of slowing down and embracing the moment. With the stress and hurry of our hectic lives and the time we live in, I prioritize more than ever to find joy and whimsy as much as I can. Because life is too short to not have enough joy and whimsy. So while I continue to work my full time job, be a mother to my daughter, and a wife to my husband, I continue to pursue the dream of living slowly and creating magical pieces that truly encompass my personality.
When I was rebranding my original Etsy store to what it is today, I chose my dream and truly what I love most to be the center of the attention, and my true “why”. My family. Jasmine is our elderly cat we adopted in the middle of the pandemic to bring comfort and joy into our lives and she has done just that. Then came along our daughter Lily just a few years later. They, along with my husband, Matt, have truly given me a sense of purpose that I never really felt before. And they are my constant reminder to find magic, whimsy, and joy in every day. I hope I can bring these to you as well.
